How to find us
Woodchester Mansion stands in Woodchester Park, a National Trust park whose entrance is near Nympsfield. The Mansion has its own car park for use on Open Days. The entrance to the Mansion’s car park is on the B4066 (Stroud to Dursley road) five miles south of Stroud, close to the Coaley Peak viewing point, and at the junction of the B4066 and a minor road leading to Nympsfield.
Car parking is free and the Mansion itself is one mile from the car park. A free minibus service is available on Open Days to take you between the car park and the Mansion. Please note that there is no vehicular access to the Mansion itself.
If you are travelling to the Mansion from the M5 then you should leave the motorway at Junction 13 and use the A417 heading towards Stroud. Turn right at the first roundabout to take you to the village of Eastington where you turn left towards Frocester. Continue up Frocester Hill and turn left on the B4066 at the top of the hill. The entrance to Woodchester Mansion car park is then about 400 yards on the right - just after you pass the entrance to the Coaley Peak viewpoint and picnic area on your left.
