The Best of British at Woodchester Mansion

Tuesday 5 June 2012

Queen VictoriaWoodchester MansionQueen Elizabeth II

We’re celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee in a house that was left unfinished by its builders in the year that Queen Victoria was declared Empress of India.

At Woodchester Mansion we know all about timelessness and we take our visitors on a unforgettable journey into a glorious past.

On Tuesday 5th June 2012 we will be throwing a special Woodchester Mansion party for the Jubilee and we invite you to share our celebration of the traditions that join present to past in British life.

We will be giving away 60 traditional British cuppas to go with our slap-up cream teas, to be served in the Mansion’s magnificent Victorian Drawing Room.

But in honour of Her Majesty, we won’t stop at 60, so it will be free cuppas for all…
