Event starts: 31 July 2013

31 July 2013 - Owls Day

Today's theme is owls, taking up the theme of the carvings in the Mansion's courtyard. In the morning we'll be offering you a variety of owlish craft activities: printing cards, sewing, clay models and junk model owls. In the afternoon local falconer John Dowling will be introducing you to a real owl and you will have the chance to find out all about how they hunt for food, where they live and about different sorts of owls. This should be a great day for everyone who loves owls.
