Chef Mansion Catering - Temporary/Full Time

A prestigious local heritage and tourist attraction requires an ambitious, dedicated catering  professional to take on the responsibilty of running and expanding our existing catering offer and facilities.  This role would ideally appeal to a newly qualified chef, sous chef or very experienced cook.

You will preferably have experience gained in a tourist catering setting working alongside volunteers preparing food. You will demonstrate a tenacious and flexible approach to make this expansion a success, making the Mansion to be the place to visit, to keep visitors coming back and recommending it to others.

This is a challenging opportunity in a challenging environment and will not suit the faint-hearted. You will need an eye for quality and detail. The contract of employment will initially run until 31st October 2014 and we are looking for someone to start immediately.

In return for a 40-hour week with weekend and Bank Holiday working, we are offering:

  • £7.95 per hour plus an end of contract Profit Share.
  • A view to becoming permanent.
