Woodchester Mansion's season of regular opening on six days a week has now finished.
The Mansion will, however, be open on Saturday 6 December and Sunday 7 December, when there will be mulled wine in the Drawing Room in front of a roaring log fire. The tea room will be open and there will be guided tours of the Mansion, and the minibus will run between the car park and the Mansion. We look forward to welcoming you to our Christmas festivities.
On Saturday 6 December, Father Christmas will be at the Mansion between 11.30 and 12.30 and again between 1.30 and 2.30 and John Dowling will be at the Mansion with a static display of his birds of prey - don't miss these photo-opportunities!
On Sunday 7 December, John Dowling will be leading a Hawk Walk.
Additionally, the Mansion will be open on New Year's Day - Thursday 1 January 2015. So, if you would like a break from the festive season we can recommend a walk in the park and a visit to the Mansion - the tea room will be open and there will be guided tours - and there will be a welcoming fire in the Drawing Room. Please park in the National Trust car park (normal charges apply) The minibus will run between the foot of the steps from the car park and the Mansion. Make a visit to the Mansion a new year resolution.
The 2015 season of open days will begin on 1 April and end on 31 October.
