Woodchester Mansion Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June 2019

Woodchester Mansion is open from Friday 28 June to Sunday 30 June 2019 from 11.00am to 5.00pm (last admission 4.00pm)

The tea room will be open from 11.00am to 4.00pm for hot and cold food and tea and coffee and to 4.30pm for tea and coffee.

On Friday 28 June:  There will be guided tours of the Mansion at 11.45am and 2.30pm. Visitors may also take a self-guided tour of the Mansion. There is no additional charge for the guided tour. The minibus will run from the foot of the steps from the National Trust car park hourly from 11.00am until 4.00pm. 

On Saturday 29 June, The minibus will run from the foot of the steps from the National Trust car park hourly from 11.00am until 4.00pm. At the time of writing (6.30pm on Tuesday 25 June) we do not have a Volunteer tour guide so there will be no guided tours of the Mansion today. Visitors may take self-guided tours of the Mansion. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Art Sparks Children's Workshops: 20 August. This summer, Woodchester Mansion will be hosting four Art Sparks creative children’s art workshops inspired by the Mansion. 

Woodchester Bat Experiences: 21 June, 5 July, 19 July, 9 August, 6 September. Learn about our Greater and Lesser Horseshoes and watch them in their maternity roosts.

Stone Days: 27 July, 31 August. The Guild of St Stephen and St George are running taster days in stone masonry. Come and try your hand at this ancient craft under the supervision of a Master Mason and his apprentices. You will be given expert advise on how to handle tools and work stone to achieve beautiful results that you can take home.

“Made in Woodchester” Craft Fair: Sunday 11 AugustLocal craftsmen from the village of Woodchester.

Festival Players: 22 August. Much Ado About Nothing. Outdoor Theatre from this popular touring company. 

Halloween Party: 26 October. Fancy Dress, Bar, Disco with Halloween theme. 

Mansion cellars decorated for Halloween half-term: 29 October – 3 November.
