The Festival Players Theatre Company celebrates 25 years of acclaimed professional theatre with an exciting new production of Shakespeare’s final, great poetic comedy, The Tempest. The exiled Duke Prospero conjures a tempestuous storm to lure his enemies to a strange and mysterious island, drawing them through a web of enchantment and illusion as his powers reach their summit: A colourful and fascinating tale for all the family.
Tickets cost £15 each and are available from the Mansion shop on Open Days, or from Stroud Subscription Rooms (call 01453-760900 to book). The performance begins at 6pm although you are welcome to arrive earlier and, perhaps, bring a picnic.
Note that if the weather is bad, the performance will take place in the Drawing Room.
