Photographer of the Year 2013

As in the past two years, Woodchester Mansion Trust is holding a competition to find the Woodchester Mansion Photographer of the Year for 2013.

This year there will be a cash prize of £50 for the winning entry. The winning entry and selected other entries will be displayed in the Mansion for 12 months. The winner’s name and the names of other photographs displayed will also be displayed unless otherwise requested. No contact details of entrants will be displayed.

Keith Hart entry 2012Bethan Barke entry 2012The competition is for any internal or external photograph of Woodchester Mansion. Photographs may be in colour, in monochrome, or an abstract picture following digital enhancement. Each entry must be a minimum of 20cms x 25cms, mounted on white card with the entrant’s name, contact details and entry form number written clearly on the back of the mount. Only one entry from each entry form is permitted. Individuals may submit as many entries as they wish provided each entry is accompanied by an individual entry form. All entries will become the property of the Woodchester Mansion Trust and no entries can be returned. However, copyright remains with the individual photographers. Woodchester Mansion Trust reserve the right to use any of the entries either for display purposes or for promotional purposes, though copyright of the pictures will be acknowledged.

Entries can be submitted at any time by post at the address given below, or in person – though if bringing an entry by hand please telephone the office on 01453-861541 to ensure that the Mansion is open. The deadline for entries is 12 noon on the Thursday 26 September 2013.

The winning entrants will be informed by email, by telephone, or in writing, as soon as possible after 28 October 2013.

No Trustee, Member of Woodchester Mansion Trust, Employee of Woodchester Mansion Trust or Woodchester Mansion Volunteer may enter the competition, nor may any relative of those individuals enter the competition.
