Victorian Theatre visits 19th century Mansion

Jonathan Goodwin in role as SherlockVICTORIAN Gothic Woodchester Mansion promises to be an atmospheric venue for a one-man homage to the world’s greatest detective Sherlock Holmes.

The audience for the live performance on Friday evening will have the chance to wander the Mansion and soak up its spectacular architecture before taking a further step back in time with Victorian theatre from West Midlands-based Don’t Go Into The Cellar.

Actor Jonathan Goodwin will offer vintage thrills as “The Singular Exploits of Sherlock Holmes” recounts highlights of the supersleuth’s crime busting career, the adversaries he has faced and the mysteries he has solved.

The Mansion Servants' Hall will be open for food, and parking will be in the National Trust car park with a minibus shuttle to the venue.
