How to find us:

Hazard warningWoodchester Mansion stands in Woodchester Park, a National Trust park whose entrance is near Nympsfield. The entrance to the National Trust car park is on a minor road that runs from the B4066 (Stroud to Dursley road) to the village of Nympsfield. The turning to Nympsfield is five miles south of Stroud, and close to the Coaley Peak viewing point. The entrance to the National Trust car park is on the left, about 250 yards from the junction with the B4066.

If you are travelling to the Mansion from the M5 then you should leave the motorway at Junction 13 and use the A419 heading towards Stroud. Turn right at the first roundabout to take you to the village of Eastington where you turn left towards Frocester. Continue up Frocester Hill and turn left onto the B4066 at the top of the hill. The turning to Nympsfield is then about half  a mile on the right - just after you pass the entrance to the Coaley Peak viewpoint and picnic area on your left.

The post code of the Mansion is GL10 3TS though please note that there is no access to Woodchester Park or to the Mansion from the A46 which is where, unfortunately, some SatNav systems will take you.

The grid reference for the turning from the B4066 to Nympsfield is SO 79528 01420 and the entrance is at Latitude 51.711N Longitude 2.298W.
