Grant Awards in 2019

In 2019 Historic England awarded the Woodchester Mansion Trust a substantial grant to support conservation of the building in three ways:

• Development of a Conservation Management Plan to inform further conservation work
• Emergency repairs to the Brewery Gable in the north wing
• A feasibility study on repair costs for the Ironing Room Roof and adjacent chimneys

The work is now all complete and has led to further progress, including repair of the ironing room and part of the north and south range roofs.
