On Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May we're celebrating MAYDAY with the STEAMPUNKS of GLOUCESTERSHIRE. Come and enjoy a family day out at wonderful Woodchester Mansion and meet the amazing and generous Steampunks. There's dancing round the Maypole, tea duelling, armoured combat and other exciting events to enjoy, or even take part, and market stalls to browse. HENRY'S cafe will be open for FOOD 10am - 5pm every day on the Bank Holiday weekend.

We're looking for new volunteers - all ages, all skills welcome! This month we're seeking helpers to man the car park for our Mayday event with the Glos STEAMPUNKS on Sun 3rd & Mon 4th May. For our open days this year we need minibus drivers, reception & ticket desk volunteers, and new tour guides . We also need volunteers for routine maintenance around the Mansion.

Our popular STONE CARVING WORKSHOPS  with master mason and experienced tutor Paul Maggs will be held in 2026 on Saturdays 9 May, 20 June, 11 July, 22 Aug, 19 Sept & 17 Oct. Read more to find out about costs and booking.

Come and join this local community choir in the uniquely resonant spaces of Woodchester Mansion for an evening of immersive choral music.
Performances are at 6pm and 8pm on Friday 5th June. Adult tickets £20

We're thrilled that HENRY'S BAKEHOUSE CAFÉ from Minchinhampton will be with us again in 2026 with their delicious range of quality coffees, teas, cakes and lunches. HENRY'S @ WOODCHESTER will be open 11-5pm Fri, Sat, Sun on Mansion Open Days, including bank holidays. Everyone welcome - come along, bring your dog, sit and eat!
