Photoshoots at the Mansion

Woodchester Mansion can be hired for amateur and professional photoshoots. You can simply explore the striking architecture and craftsmanship, or use the Mansion as a backdrop for a model, or for product placement in magazines and websites. For commercial work the unfinished building can provide a neutral background to showcase your subject.

We offer full or half day hire, plus additional hours if necessary. You will have access to all areas of the Mansion normally open to the public (unless maintenance work is going on, normally we can advise on this before you book). During our public Open Day season, from April to October, photoshoots are only possible on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In winter any weekday is available, but please remember that occasionally access is difficult in very bad weather. Rates start at £340/day for amateurs (2025 prices), commercial shoots by negotiation depending on complexity and organisation. We also welcome students. Amateurs might wish to consider combining with another group or inviting a few friends to share costs. There is plenty of space in the Mansion so you’re unlikely to get in each other’s way.
