Inside the Mansion we have a little room called the POTWASH which is very important. It’s where our staff, volunteers, and some visitors who hire the Mansion for a day make their cups of tea and coffee.
Unfortunately the floor had decayed and a major refurbishment was needed. This was achieved by our manager Max working with his team of maintenance volunteers, plus a fantastic input from kitchen fitter Dean Gore from DJE Property Services based in Nailsworth. Dean found us brand new unwanted kitchen units and fitted them, all free of charge. We’re very grateful to Dean for his support – he’s done a great job! You can see the difference below – before we started using the room again and made it untidy.
