Each year Woodchester Mansion partner with the STEAMPUNKS of GLOUCESTERSHIRE for a unique fun-packed MAYDAY celebration for all the family.
The STEAMPUNKS of GLOUCESTERSHIRE are an active inclusive community group. They run family friendly events for the public to support charities and promote interest in STEAMPUNK. All their daytime events are free. They’re inclusive, everyone is welcome, regardless of how conventional or different they are. Come and meet the STEAMPUNKS at the house that’s like no other – Woodchester Mansion. We fit well!
On Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May there will be dancing around the MAYPOLE – as you can see from the picture, for visitors of all ages. If you don’t want to be energetic, you can watch the Morris Dancers.

You can visit the STEAMPUNK MARKET – as well as unique steampunk gear there’s jewellery, ornaments, handmade crafts and pictures.
Admission to the ground floor of the Mansion is free, so you can see the amazing building. If you want to focus on the Mansion, rather than Steampunk, you can take a full guided tour, or just explore upstairs independently. We have a reduced charge of £5 for adults (children £2) for this on May 3rd & 4th.
