BREWERY WEEKEND
A chance to see the unique Mansion Brewery and enjoy local ales from ULEY BREWERY.
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October
The brewery in the North Range of the Mansion is only open once a year, when our rare bats have departed for the winter. This year, on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th October, visitors can discover how this unusual and important domestic part of the house operated, with our experienced guides Chris and Dennis. If you take the special tour at 3pm (both days) you can enjoy a guided tasting of six beers from Uley Brewery with their expert Ken. Tickets for the 3pm experience are limited and cost £45 – details here.
Visitors who prefer to just view the brewery and servants’ quarters, without the tasting, need to arrive at the Mansion by 2pm. The cost is £15, which includes visiting the entire Mansion and the Brewery. Please ask at reception when you arrive so we can book you onto a brewery tour. We are sorry, but children under 12 are not allowed on these tours. They can enjoy the bat trail while Mum or Dad goes round the brewery!
