Upcoming dates for our popular STONE CARVING WORKSHOPS are Saturdays 17th May, 21st June and 26th July, 9am – 4pm. We are limited to 10 spaces per day. The cost is £110 per person. Spaces are available on all the above dates.

We also sell VOUCHERS so you can make the gift of a workshop to your family & friends. A great idea for birthday presents! The recipient has the chance to learn a new skill while spending the day at the historic Woodchester Mansion. Afterwards they can display their work at home and tell the story of how it was crafted – much better than buying a gift from the shops. The experience also makes a good present for people who’re hard to buy for.
The tutor Paul is an experienced craft mason who not only has the skill of working in stone but is also a longstanding teacher of stone masonry, especially to beginners. You will receive expert advice from him on handling tools and working the stone to achieve beautiful results. All materials and tools and PPE are provided and participants will return home with their own hand-made masterpiece.
